Top 10 Greatest July 4th Drinks

10. Beer

Nothing says July 4th like a can, bottle, or glass of beer. It is an American tradition brought to the U. S. by thousands of British, Irish, and German brew masters. The Native Americans were also making their own version of beer at least 5,000 years before Europeans ever got to the United States. Buy it or brew your own. Traditionalists insist on American made brew.

9. Sangria Flag

A traditional red, white, and blue cooler for a hot 4th: Traditionally you need a pint mason jar. Strawberry halves make the red. Blue berries are the blue. The white wine is the white. Blend 1 pint of strawberries, one pint of blueberries, one-half cup of lemon juice, one cup of triple sec, one bottle of white wine, and a bottle of club soda in a pitcher. Use a spoon to get an even distribution of fruit into each Mason jar.
